Dime Piece 101

I'll say it once and I will say it AGAIN: Italians do it best! This is the new cover of Vogue Italia. Yes to the curvy girls! Yes to Vogue Italia for being so positive and wonderful! Editor-in-cheif Franca Sozzani launched a petition against pro-anorexia websites in March. Now she is showcasing plus-size beauties on the new edition of Vogue. Vogue prides themselves on not talking about diets in their magazine.
"We help [plus-size women] dress fashionably. We say: It's pointless for you to buy leggings, take this because this will look good on you. We help them choose. We don't talk about diets because they don't want to be on a diet, but it's not a ghetto. Why should these women slim down? Many of the women who have a few extra kilos are especially beautiful and also more feminine."
Right on Franca! Keep up the good work, Vogue Italia!

  1. The cover says "True Beauties." Just goes to show you that it took me until the 2nd or 3rd picture to realize the girls were not model-skinny. Not that I would call any of them fat! Goodness!

    Nice post!
