GAGA for GAGA

This past weekend I participated in a Gaga Look-A-Like Contest at mur.mur. I had so much fun and I absolutely loved fooling everyone into thinking I was Gaga!  The good news is that I got to debut my new Gaga "Born This Way" Look. The bad news is I lost because the contest was fixed!  If you are one of my close friends you know how much I love to dress up as Gaga. She is truly my favorite artist. I get super excited when people tell me I look like her because I think she is beautiful! I'll attach my other Gagas that I did last year. They both won me top prizes in two competitions.

Poop Pants?

I'm so torn. I really enjoy harem pants. They are comfy and fun. I have a few pairs, but not like these. I'm so on the fence with these pants. They could look amazing on. Very high fashion and great for the spring months ahead. Or they could  look like I took a dump in my pants. Or worst would I look like a transsexual with elephantiasis of the balls?   These are the hard decisions in my life.

The pants for from Forever 21 and they are a whopping $29.00.

Comment below if you have pants like this and your thoughts. Thanxs Lionesses.

Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 Collection

I swear this is the last post about fashion week!

I have never been a huge fan of Proenza Schouler, but the Fall 2011 Collection is stunning! I'm totally diggin the bright colors with patterns. I can picture Kristen Stewart in all of these looks. I really admire the risk that they took with this collection. I feel like when you add bright colors and  patterns to fall wear it could potentially become cheesy. There is no cheese in these designs. Everything is quite ladylike and executed beautifully. It makes my heart happy to see all the Native American inspired patterns!

The last look kinda sorta reminds me of my 2nd grade picture. My grandmother bought me this amazing white blouse. It had different colored gems as buttons and sheer white sleeves. I paired it with a purple pleated skirt. OMG, I adored this outfit. For some reason this last look I posted made me think of that outfit. It's a great picture. I'm hoping I can found it and scan it to show all of you. I think the icing on the cake was my curly afro and my missing two front teeth that made the picture so special! :)

Marchesa Fall 2011 Collection

Lady Gaga needs this in her life.

Ugh, I need to get married in this. First potential wedding dress.
Second potential wedding dress.

I CAN NOT DEAL WITH THIS COLLECTION!
I AM I DEAD? BECAUSE I SWEAR I JUST WENT TO HEAVEN!

Every look in this collection sums up my childhood. If you aren't familiar with my blog back in my early days I always dressed like a "lady", and also believed my mother when she told me I was a fairy princess.  I live for Marchesa designs. I hope (fingers crossed) Anne Hathaway or Olivia Wilde or JLo wear a Marchesa like the ones above to the Oscars. I pray!

Please take a minute and look through it. All of the pieces will take your breath away!

Alexander Wang Fall 2011 Collection

More from Fashion Week! When I look at Alexander Wang's collection I think: "Yes, all great looks I can wear when I'm bloated!" I know, I'm sick but when I spy a beautiful black draped shirt, I swear my bloated belly does flips for joy. I really like the whole vibe of his line. It's high fashion with touches of comfort. I can't wait for H&M, Forever 21, and Urban to knock him off. I need a cheap substitute. Gilt is still to expensive for me.

I'll Tumble for Ya

For the longest time I thought Michael Antonio shoes were trashy and cheap, but I was so wrong! Never judge a book by it's cover, ladies. These shoes are A-MAZING! Who doesn't love a triple platform wedge! I sure as hell do! And guess what the best part is? They are $87.00. Not to shabby for vegan suede, patent leather, and 5.75 inches of awesome-ness!

If you must have these beauties in your life go to www.lulus.com under "Back in Stock".

HMMMM, EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR ME?
I'm a size 7.5!

Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2011 Collection

Diane von Furstenberg reminds me of my days working at a Center City boutique. Every girl loves Diane. Rich old ladies from Center City, bored housewives from the Main Line, bitchy Penn students, poor but fabulous south philly girls.  It is safe to say Diane's collections are loved by all!

I can remember like it was yesterday working at that C.C. boutique.Whenever we would get a shipment in of DVF everyone would gather around it. All employees acted as if it was Christmas morning. I am lucky to have three amazing DVF dresses from this boutique. Each one is a different style and fabric and all three look dynamite on!

The Fall 2011 collection is to die for. I am totally enthralled with the colors and fabrics. I am not one for matchy, matchy, but the blue on the blue and the green on the green ensembles give me chills!! I love that Diane is not afraid to put color in her collections.

Best way to describe this collection is:
Michelle Pfeiffer from Scarface meets Fraggle Rock.

Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 Collection

Follow my blog with bloglovin

I swear I would give up a kidney to be front row at a Marc Jacobs fashion show. I love this man. He never lets me down. Last night he showcased his Fall 2011 collection to his peers and fellow fashionistas. I'm loving all the different materials and patterns he is mixing into the looks. I must say I am dying with joy over the whole reptile scales/leather look. Disclaimer: I would NOT rather go naked than wear fur. Don't get me wrong I love animals, but I also like the way they look on me. Whatever, I guess I'm inviting Peta to come after my ass. Anywoo....

I can't say enough about this collection. The best way to describe it would be:
Judy Jetson transported to Paris in the 1940's.

BTW the last picture, the red lace dress would look amazing on Nicole Kidman.

Happy Love Day

Being a Pisces you would think I totally adore this day, but in reality I somewhat dread it. Lucky for me I always have two definite valentines each year. They ponied up their baby money to buy me my favorite chocolates. They are so good to their Aunt Risa. Thank you Baby Jerk and Fatts for being the best Valentines a girl can ask for!

Happy Valentine's Day to all my Bitches and Lionesses!

Turning Japanese, oh yes I’m turning Japanese

Topshop $100

Topshop $100

Topshop $110

Halston Heritage $455.00

Only Hearts $121.00

All I want to do this Spring is wear my kimono to get some sushi. Is that wrong? Like it or not kimonos are a big trend for this upcoming spring. Long, short, plain, lace, floral, you name it and it will be on a kimono. There are couple of great ways to wear a kimono. I'm really feeling the long Halston one above. The long kimono screams elegance and sophication. Pair it with the right chunky accessories and some platform wedges, and you are ready for a high class event. I also like putting a long, flowy kimono with jeans and a t shirt. Instead of putting on a basic wrap why not a kimono. A couple of months ago I went to the Lady Gaga concert and her friend Lady Starlight opened up for her. Yes, I know she is a little kooky and definitely does not live on this planet, but her kimono/casual look really impressed me. I loved that she had on ripped denim shorts, a t shirt, and long floral kimono. What an amazing wild card combo. I dare all my readers to try it at least once! If that just isn't your cup of tea try the short kimonos. They are great for the daytime and nighttime. I really love the two kimonos from Topshop. They are a little pricey, but if you aren't on a budget (like me) then go for it! I will be on the hunt for the perfect vintage kimono. Stay tune :)
